Nina Maria Peltola

A finnish photographer working in Le Mans France sings her childhood memory, a dark ballade from her grandmotherīs village, where a girl in white was killed early summer 1953.

Silence screams in the swamp. In the forest rattles the chain of bicycle. Hidden the handsome man. Visible the beautiful bride. Comes. They meet.

In the forest the spirit get sqeesed, In the swamp the edge of shovel crashes towards the rhizomes. Sweat on the handsome forehead. Under the hummock beautiful bride. They are seen by some, both. Inseparables eternally.

Silence screams in the swamp. In the forest branches are rustling under the mute shoes. In fire handsome forehead. Immortal the bride. Seer wordless of love. They meet in due time.

Deep forest is stable and sings. Swamp is florishing white. Who was innocent.
