In our Book Gallery space Sanna Pitkäniemi Toroska: The Fragile Threads of Time - Cyanotype Prints of Forgotten Interiors. The exhibition Fragile Threads of Time consists of tannin-patinated cyanotype prints printed on watercolor paper. The images were taken in empty building interiors and courtyards in my home region of Satakunta. They are details of the passage of time and forgetting.
In our Tile and Cellar Galleries Helena Marja Teräväinen: Spaces Remember, photography. Helena Marja Teräväinen is an architect, Doctor of Technology, currently a freelance researcher and photographer. Her exhibition wants to highlight the importance of permanence in architecture – instead of the madness of demolition.
