Svart Records released the debut album "En ehkä halua tietää" by the Sörnäinen band, which plays rumbling country, rough rock and twisted adult pop, on March 27, 2026. Founded in 2014, the band has had time to refine its combination of minor keys, surrender and Finnish depression by touring selectively across the country. The lineup's first official recording, Keskity pahuuteen EP (Svart Records, 2022), has been playing frequently on both radio waves and internet playlists. "Longing, pain and feeling abandoned are the central lyrical elements of Finnish adut pop music. Although they may seem particularly dark in difficult times, on the other hand, those themes cleanse the soul and bring comfort when it is needed," say the band's guitarist-singer Taskinen and bassist Tapio Wilska.
