Known for his sensitive voice and passionate interpretation style, Ville Leinonen's career began in the late 1990s. In the early 2000s, he achieved success with his band Valumo. Since then, Leinonen has fearlessly ventured into different genres, releasing not only his own songs but also albums consisting of borrowed hits. Known as a brilliant live performer, the artist's latest album SURF'S UP (2025) deals with horror films through the medium of thrash metal, and is only available as a physical edition. The unique sincerity, musical sensitivity, and nostalgic melancholy that run through Ville Leinonen's production have cemented his music's place in the hearts of Finns.

V. Härkönen (Ville Härkönen) is a singer-songwriter with a long career, who has previously been involved in bands such as Maryland, Samettivallankumous and Sonik. He has been releasing his music under the name V. Härkönen since 2019. When he conquers the stage with an acoustic guitar, V. Härkönen filters everything he has experienced with an open heart into his music. At the same time, at the core of the warm-hearted and justice-demanding narrative is always humanity, which Härkönen weighs with his precise words and caresses with his soft voice. When V. Härkönen plays, we can feel that music cares and takes care; around it, everyone is equally important. A lot of new, unreleased material is expected at the Laterna Magica gig.
