Paintings, altered, drawings and figures.

Kalle Taivainen is a musician and visual artist. Taivainen has mainly worked in pop art. In the early part of the millennium, he was busy with Modesty Blaise posters and tin silhouettes, which eventually took both Kalle and the silhouettes to New York, Japan and Stockholm.

Taivainen also alters and defaces old paintings found in recycling under the pseudonym Hey. The Wolt drivers and ABC towers added to old paintings received attention in Helsingin Sanomat 2024, after which Hey paintings have been seen in exhibitions all over Finland. This exhibitions at Laterna Magica also features older paintings, drawings and figures, as well as a Ricky Gervais silhouette
