My exhibition, "Once Upon a Time – A Slow, Long Journey", is an interdisciplinary project in which I juxtapose sculptural objects with my own writings. One element does not explain the other; instead, together they form my interpretation of existence. In this series of works, I have utilized small sculptures and fragments created over the decades, alongside photographs, glass, crocheted wire, earth tones, pigments, and natural materials—such as various seeds, dried and crushed leaves, beeswax, and eggshells—as well as verses I have written.

Before and during my studies at the University of Art and Design Helsinki (now Aalto University), I held several solo exhibitions in my hometown of Muhos and participated in numerous group exhibitions in the Oulu region. Even then, my choice of media encompassed various techniques and materials, such as pastels, oil and acrylic paints, plaster, string, carved wood, and forms and boxes constructed from plywood.

After qualifying as a ceramicist, I wanted to incorporate the latest digital tools into my artistic expression. This led to the creation of works in which manual craftsmanship engaged in a dialogue with computer-generated imagery.

In my current work, I also incorporate verbal meanings, seeking to express my vision through interdisciplinary and cross-technological methods.
