Talviunia, winter dreams is a photo exhibition about dreams and hopes, about the pausing and waiting and hibernation, which take place in the darkness of midwinter. The exhibition features works by Jenni Haili, Jaakko Kilpiäinen, Natalia Kopkina and Katri Lassila. The artists are united by a passion for the world of analog photography. Jarmo Koponen's photos from the collection Someplace show places that have made him stop. They have felt significant, each in their own way. These are pictures primarily of time, place and atmosphere, but also of what Koponen finds aesthetically interesting. Jarmo Koponen is a Korpilahti-born Finnish-American visual artist who, after 30 years spent abroad, currently lives and works in Jyväskylä. Opening on Tuesday Jan 9, 5-7 PM. Warm welcome!

The COSMIC DREAMS exhibition series consists of oil and mixed media works in which female figures are in surreal environments, other dimensions and space. The works are connected by dreamlike abstract backgrounds, which are a reference to both the cosmos and the subconscious. In the center are human figures, from whom it is not clear whether they are human anymore. Exhibition opening on Tuesday January 9, from 5-7 PM. Warm welcome.
