Motions and connections is a joint exhibtion by three artists: Astrid Heimer, Leena Juvonen and Malene Pedersen. With clay in our hands, and form as the primary statement, we aim to explore the concept of reciprocity.

Things I Want You to Remember" by Roberto Murillo Arias is a project that portrays a stage in the artist's life of self rediscovery, through the love of two children and their mother."Verolís" is an ongoing project by Kenneth Jiménez that compiles photographs taken on a farm in his hometown of Alajuela, Costa Rica. Beryl Furman's 70th anniversary exhibition will take place in Laterna Magica's Tile and Cellar galleries at the end of July. The opening of the exhibition will be celebrated on Tuesday 25 July 2023 from 5-7 PM. At the opening at 5.30 PM, Performance by Shifu Zhang Fang: Taiji sword.

The exhibition consists of a dialogue between photographs, watercolors and words. The starting point for the whole is a series of photographs that progress in time from the same place and object, a childhood friend by the water, through several years and seasons. In his ceramic sculptures Sami Rinne depicts the joys and sorrows in the lives of the unicorns. For Rinne unicorns are real. They even have a sense of imagination. Vernissage on Tuesday June 27th from 5-7 PM. Warm welcome!

”Heinäkuun Yö - A July Night is an exhibition inspired by a surrealist short story written by Bruno Schultz (1892-1942) , a polish jewish writer who lived in Drohobych, Austrian Galicia, today part of Ukraine. The exhibition consists of collage paintings on paper and canvas, artist books, beeswax sculptures and a musical videowork .Exhibition opening on Tuesday June 27th from 5-7 PM. Warm welcome!

Ville Pirinen (b.1973) was born in Kitee and lives in Tampere. He is a comics artist and writer and musician. His exhibition in Laterna Magica's Tile and Cellar galleries consists of both older material and works that have been made for this exhibition with the said felt tip pen. Paula Haapalahti's photography exhibition opens in Laterna Magica's Book Gallery space in May. Haapalahti describes her process: "The photographs in this exhibition reflect my thoughts and experiences in the past 10 years. At first I thought this project might be only for myself but maybe by sharing these works I can share something of myself and reach into the viewers' experience, the space between."
